Course Description

The School of Technology is dedicated to providing cutting-edge technological education, research, and service that cater to the needs of tomorrow's world. The goal is to produce engineering graduates who prioritize addressing critical issues that technology can solve, such as healthcare, security, economic stability, sustainability, and values. To achieve this, the School offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral education programs that adopt a discovery-to-educational philosophy. This approach entails using basic research and discoveries as a foundation for practical applications that benefit society as a whole. The School aims to expand the University's activities, optimize infrastructure usage, and allow faculty to pursue research and innovation in various engineering fields. Additionally, the revenue generated from the courses offered by the School of Technology will help to reduce the revenue deficit and transition the University towards a self-financed mode.

B.Tech Civil Engineering is a comprehensive undergraduate program offered by the School of Technology that aims to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and expertise necessary to solve practical problems related to civil engineering and technology. The program emphasizes the acquisition and application of fundamental principles of science and engineering to address issues and challenges in civil engineering. Students are trained to analyze and evaluate complex problems, design and develop innovative solutions, conduct experiments, interpret experimental results, and apply modern techniques in construction practices. The program also instills a sense of ethical and professional behavior, effective communication, project management, and finance skills. Graduates of this program will be able to work effectively as individuals and team leaders, assess the impact of social and cultural changes on infrastructure projects, understand the importance of sustainability and environmental impact in design and development of infrastructure projects, and continuously enhance their professional development and lifelong learning.
