Pharm. D (Doctor of Pharmacy)
The Pharm.D (Doctor of Pharmacy) is a six-year professional degree programme that students can pursue after completing their 12th standard in Science. This programme is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to become clinical pharmacists, and include coursework in subjects such as pharmacy practice, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, pharmacotherapy, pharmaceutical calculations, clinical research, pharmacovigilance, and more. In addition to traditional classroom instruction, the Pharm.D programme also includes hands-on training and practical experience in a pharmacy setting, enabling students to apply their knowledge in a real-world setting. Upon completion of the programme, graduates will be eligible to take the licensure examination required to practice as pharmacists anywhere in the country.
