M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance)

The Department of Pharmaceutical Science at MIT-WPU offers a wide range of specialised Masters programmes in Pharmacy for students who have completed their B. Pharmacy degree. These programmes provide students with training in specific areas of pharmacy and focus on hands-on, practical learning through a variety of projects and internships. In order to prepare students for careers in research, the programmes include modules on research methodology and tools and techniques in the pharmaceutical field, and encourage students to present their research at national and international conferences. The M.Pharm Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance programme at MIT-WPU is designed to provide students with a strong understanding of the principles and practices of quality assurance in the pharmaceutical industry.The programme covers a wide range of topics, including industry trends and standards such as ISO and Six Sigma, QBD, cGMP, and Quality Management Systems. It is geared towards preparing students for careers in various sectors, including pharmaceutical manufacturing, formulation research, analytical research, quality assurance, biotech industries, the food industry, cosmetics, and veterinary pharmaceuticals.
